An American Classic.

Since 2009, BARNSC has been dedicated to the preservation, promotion, and protection of one of America’s rarest and most historically significant rabbit breeds: the American rabbit.

What started as a small group of passionate breeders has grown into a national and international community committed to education, ethical breeding, youth outreach, and conservation.

In 2022, we became a 501(c)(3) private foundation—allowing us to expand our efforts to support youth education and fund vital breed preservation work.

Our Mission

To protect and promote the American rabbit through education, ethical breeding practices, youth development, and a strong, supportive breeder community.
